Motivation
Language is often the key to meaningful interaction with large groups of people and a door to different worlds. . In particular, one cannot understand a culture without first understanding its language.
For many, German truly does not live up to its reputation of being hard to learn – why not give it a try?
Goals
Most European students are taught many languages from a young age. In a connected world, this is increasingly useful, and more educated Germans are usually somewhat proficient in at least three languages. In our course, depending on prior skill, students will make significant progress in German and are expected to achieve at least an intermediate proficiency level.
